We’re happy inform you that The New York Times reported that more than 30 NYC Council Members sent a letter to Grubhub, joining the NYC Hospitality Alliance in demanding that all fees be paid back.

Earlier this year we explained how Grubhub was charging restaurants bogus fees and engaging in other questionable business practices. As a result of increased scrutiny, the delivery company agreed to partially reimburse restaurants for the illegitimate fees (a step in the right direction), however the NYC Hospitality Alliance demanded all money be paid back. 

We’re happy inform you that The New York Times reported that more than 30 NYC Council Members sent a letter to Grubhub, joining the NYC Hospitality Alliance in demanding that all fees be paid back. This letter followed the company’s dismal earnings report this week, which resulted in headlines like, Goldman analyst after GrubHub’s 40% plunge: ‘We got this wrong’.
