Indoor Dining Returns September 30

By NYC Hospitality Alliance

Today, Governor Cuomo announced a return to indoor dining in the five boroughs, which the NYC Hospitality Alliance has been advocating for.

While reduced occupancy indoor dining will not save our industry and we'll need significant ongoing support from all levels of government, this is an important start. Per the Governor, below are the restrictions and limitations of indoor dining and we will continue to work with his office on clarifying all the details for a safe opening.

The following quote from the NYC Hospitality Alliance was included in Governor Cuomo's press release announcing the return to indoor dining.

"The New York City restaurant industry has been financially devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic and a safe return to indoor dining is critical to help save these vital small businesses and jobs. We're thankful to Governor Cuomo for announcing a return to indoor dining with a blueprint for future expansion. Restaurants are essential to New York's economic and social fabric, and indoor dining is a key component to the industry's recovery."
