Yesterday, Senator Schumer joined the NYC Hospitality Alliance and other industry groups to detail the $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF)
During the call, Senator Schumer answered some of our questions, outlined restaurant eligibility, what the funds can be used for, and more.
It’s anticipated the application to apply, and all additional details for the RRF will be available by mid-late April, and the SBA plans to start grant distribution in May. Please follow our industry alerts and social media as we share additional information as it becomes available.
We would also like to inform you that the SBA announced yesterday that operators that apply for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund will not need to sign up for a System for Award Management (SAM) account or acquire a DUNS number to register. This will further streamline the application process making the funds more accessible for small businesses.
We thank Senator Schumer and his team for their hard work and dedication to supporting our industry. Below, you will find Senator Schumer's guide to the RRF.
