TAKE ACTION: 67,650 employees Laid Off

By NYC Hospitality Alliance

We are asking to you to participate in a social media campaign to get the attention of elected officials

New York City's hospitality industry is in freefall, according to the results of a survey released Wednesday by the NYC Hospitality Alliance, in advance of the Department of Labor's unemployment claims report today. The survey respondents - owners and operators of 1,870 restaurants, bars and nightclubs in NYC - reported laying off or furloughing 67,650 employees since restaurants and bars were required to close and permitted to serve delivery and takeout food only.
