Mayor Adams Signs RRF Replenishment Letter
The NYC Hospitality Alliance is fighting hard to replenish the Restaurant Revitalization Fund, so the thousands of struggling restaurants and bars shut out of the fund when the money was quickly exhausted can get the financial relief they desperately need.
Today, mayors from around the country sent a letter to Senate and Congressional leadership urging them to replenish the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.
The NYC Hospitality Alliance is proud that our own Mayor Eric Adams signed this letter, and we are extremely grateful for our mayor’s steadfast support for our city’s restaurant and nightlife industry. We thank the Independent Restaurant Coalition for spearheading this letter. Our industry and mayor in NYC stand in solidarity with our industry and mayors from around the country.
Besides Mayor Adams, our New York U.S. Senators, led by Majority Leader Schumer, and our Congressional Delegation already support replenishing the fund. Unfortunately, not enough federal elected representatives from other states in the nation support replenishment, to pass the bill so we must keep fighting.
As we have urged you in the past, if you have any connections to Republican U.S. Senators in other states, please contact them ASAP and urge them to support replenishing the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.
We will keep you up-to-date.
