Private Employer Vax Mandated Will Be Lifted on 11/1

Today, Mayor Adams announced that beginning on November 1st, the private sector COVID-19 vaccine mandate will be suspended for employers in New York City. 

The City is simultaneously encouraging private businesses to put in place their own vaccine policies. The November 1st effective date is intended to provide time for businesses to develop their own policies if they so choose.
