Shortened COVID-19 Isolation Period
Some Important News From NYS: Shortened COVID-19 Isolation Period May Apply for Certain Fully Vaccinated Workers, Including in the Hospitality Industry.
New York State has shortened the isolation time for essential workers—including those in the restaurant and bar industry. Where there is a critical staffing shortage, the new Guidance permits essential workers to return to work after day 5 of their isolation period in certain limited circumstances. These new Guidelines do not require testing but there are new standards that must be followed. You can read the guidelines for further detail by CLICKING HERE.
As always, the NYC Hospitality Alliance is committed to providing our Members and the NYC hospitality industry with updates as they become available. We will provide further information on these new Guidelines following the holiday.
